It is not mandatory to place bets on all betting boxes, and the amounts can differ across any of the 5 bets. To qualify for NIU bets, the five cards are added and divided into two formations: 3 cards (used to determine qualification) and 2 cards (which decide the winner). The value of the cards is as follows: A=1, 2=2, 3=3… 9=9, 10=10, J=10, Q=10, K=10.
If the player does not qualify and does not have at least a King (K) among the 5 cards, they lose the entire bet. If both the player and the dealer are unqualified but both have a King, the suit of the card will be considered: K♠ is the highest, followed by K♥, K♣, and then K♦. In this case, the payout is 1 to 1 for NIU NIU, DOUBLE NIU NIU, and SUPER NIU NIU bets.
If both the player and the dealer are qualified and have hands of equal value, the highest single card determines the winner in the following order: K=14, Q=13, J=12, 10=10, 9=9 … 2=2, A=1. If the highest card is also equal, the suit will determine the winner in the following order: I – ♠, II – ♥, III – ♣, IV – ♦.
If the dealer’s hand has a lower score (or is unqualified) than the player’s qualified hand, the dealer must pay the player according to the payout table. If the player’s score is lower (or unqualified) than the dealer’s qualified hand, the player must pay the dealer according to the payout table.
If the player places one of the three NIU bets, they must have at least the initial bet amount in front of them in chips in order to pay the dealer in the event that the dealer holds the highest-ranking hand on the payout table.
